Project Overview

Enuvous, in partnership with Gasavant Africa Limited, delivered a 500 kVA gas-powered Independent Power Plant (IPP) comprising 350 kVA and 150 kVA gas-fired generator sets, designed to provide automated 24/7 backup to grid supply and ensure uninterrupted facility operations. The system is supported by a dedicated 8,500 kg propane-rated vertical storage tank and integrated gas infrastructure, providing a reliable on-site fuel supply for continuous power availability. The project scope covered engineering design, complete civil works, propane storage installation, mechanical and piping works, generator integration, testing and commissioning, and project supervision. The completed installation provides a reliable and automated 24/7 backup power solution, seamlessly supporting grid supply while enhancing energy reliability, operational continuity, and reducing dependence on conventional diesel-based power generation.

Project Overview

We successfully delivered the complete development of a 1.3 MW captive power plant for Festival Mall, Lagos, providing a dependable energy solution capable of supporting uninterrupted commercial operations. The project involved the engineering, procurement, installation, synchronization, testing, and commissioning of 650 KVA, 600 KVA, and 350 kVA diesel generator sets, operating as a single integrated power system with intelligent load sharing and automatic redundancy. Completed in just three weeks, the project also included the installation of a 25,000 litre diesel storage facility, electrical distribution infrastructure, synchronization controls, protection systems, and comprehensive commissioning. The result is a highly efficient, resilient, and scalable power plant that minimizes downtime, optimizes fuel consumption, and ensures continuous power availability for critical retail, commercial, and facility operations.
